The recall of CA Governor Gavin Newsom is very likely to be on the ballot in 2021, making it the biggest of three gubernatorial elections in this off year (VA & NJ). If the recall is successful Californians will suffer, and it will create national headwinds against Democrats trying to govern progressively this year and run into the very important 2022 midterms.
