Ludovic Blain (he/him)

Executive Director

Ludovic is the Executive Director of the California Donor Table Fund. He was hired as its first full time staff-person in 2009. Previously, Ludovic was a leader in building people of color-centered movements around closing the racial wealth gap, environmental justice, media justice, campaign finance and voting rights. Ludovic has also led capacity-building work in Haiti, Canada, Denmark and The Gambia.

Under Ludovic’s leadership the CDT family of entities has mobilized more than $50 million to build and sustain progressive people of color-centered policy and political power building and wielding across California. Through CDTF he’s worked with regional and state leaders to found power building groups that have beat back right-wing movements while expanding and unlocking the electorate, while also developing power wielding progressive governance infrastructure with them to ensure the maximum progressive outcomes of policy, initiative and candidate wins.

Ludovic is a graduate of the City College of NY, as well as leadership programs including the Rockwood Leadership Institute. He serves on several boards, including the Proteus Fund.


Molly Watson (she/her/queen)

Deputy Director

Molly Watson (she/her) is the Deputy Director for the California Donor Table Fund. She was raised in a political household in Southern California as the daughter of a Haitian immigrant and a hippie from the South. Molly earned her Bachelors in Afro-Ethnic Studies from CSU Fullerton and studied Urban Affairs at CUNY Hunter in Manhattan, NY. While in New York, Molly worked as an Advocate and Academic Coordinator at Harlem Children’s Zone and spent years fundraising for a safety net hospital in Downtown Brooklyn. In 2017, Molly returned to SoCal with her Brooklyn-born husband and son to work in fundraising and partnership for the progressive accountability organization Courage California. Molly is now the Deputy Director at the California Donor Table.

Molly is an Alumna of Emerge California, a Board member for the Black Women’s Democratic Club of California, and is a Scout for Close the Gap California.

Molly’s favorite things include her family + friends, justice, laughter, and hair.


Rebecca Hamburg (she/her)

Chief Network Officer

Rebecca M. Hamburg is the Chief Network Officer for the California Donor Table Fund. Rebecca leads individual donor network strengthening and expansion as well as foundation engagement and alignment work for CDT/F.

Previously, she was the founder and principal consultant for Rebecca Hamburg Consulting, where she empowered organizations with the tools and knowledge to achieve their vision for a better world. She provided guidance to assist grantmakers in understanding how they can support and engage in advocacy and other nonprofit organizations to engage their communities in public policy efforts through an understanding of federal tax and election law. Prior to starting her consulting firm, Rebecca served as the West Coast Director for Alliance for Justice and Program Director of the National Employment Lawyers Association. She also spent several years litigating cases on behalf of public and private employees around the country, as well as victims of civil and human rights abuses in the U.S. and around the world. 

Rebecca is a native Californian of Mexican and Jewish descent. She is mom to two boys, Rowen and Killian. Rebecca received her J.D. from The George Washington University Law School and her B.A. in political science (with honors) from the University of California, San Diego. She is an active member of the State Bar of California. 


Michael Gomez Daly (he/him)

Senior Political Strategist

Michael Gomez Daly is the Senior Political Strategist for the California Donor Table Fund.


Gabriela (she/ella)

Administrative Manager

Gabriela is the Administrative Manager at California Donor Table Fund.

She provides operations support to the team.

Danika Larsen

Development and Membership Associate

Danika is the Development and Membership Associate for California Donor Table Fund.

Before CDTF, Danika worked with the development team of Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival where her fundraising skills were used to uplift artists and their work. She also worked with The Center for Nonprofit Leadership and supported programming that gave resources, training, and professional development to rising leaders in nonprofit work. Danika graduated from California Lutheran University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration.

Working in the nonprofit sector has given Danika the opportunity to work for multiple causes that she is passionate about. Danika is excited to continue her journey in development with an organization like CDT that strives for a more equitable California.
